I was already going to Sunset! I moved with them to the new location. Miss Beck will always be my favorite teacher who ever is considering a name change!!! You didn't grow up here in are Town that we call home!! Reconsider your thoughts for the hundreds of students that came threw the doors of Sunset High School There's no reason for the change what's next changing SDSU!! Thank you for reading this.

Attending this school saved my life. It allowed me to graduate early and grow into a independent adult. SUNSET Forever!!!

As a graduate of San Dieguito HS, and currently a School Counselor we need to keep schools like Sunset open to offer students another opportunity to complete credits for courses.

My daughter went to Sunset last year and had the most memorable year of life. Sunset was all about second chance and standing up to plights and rumors. The name should stay like the students’ spirits of perseverance and courage.

People in the district also reinforce the stigma by threatening struggling students at CCA to go there. They did that to me when my parents were getting a nasty divorce and I went into a deep depression, both an assistant principal and the principal of cca told me that if I gave them any more trouble they would send me to sunset. I attempted suicide and they didn’t care for my mental health, just about the money I was costing them by not attending school when recovering and when I wasn’t getting good enough grades. Although this is about Sunset, CCA is part of the problem too

Son said is a lovely name. I have had friends children who attended and have fun memories. What could be a better name than sunset in this beautiful city. Changing the name will not change anything. Leave Sunset high beautiful name add a new beautiful campus

This school is an important option for students. When you don’t fit into the standard academic mold it’s a great option. Without this school I wouldn’t have gone to college, and i wouldn’t be working as an HR professional.
