This is a unique opportunity to save an important part of the town's history. Since Chester thrives on its small town quaintness, the house can only contribute to that and ought to be preserved.

Good luck in saving this historic house! Too many structures have met the wrecking ball, so hopefully this one survives.

Learn from the past. When historic treasures are gone it is forever. There must be a Plan "B". Save Sunnyside!

I grew up in Chester and loved going to the turkey farm as my dad(Howard Brey) would have his rotary club banquets there. I hope it can be saved!!!

Chester thrives on its historic character. Demolishing Sunnyside will also demolish some of that character.

Please don't allow another piece of Chester's history be destroyed...... the area was attractive enough to bring people here and now we seem willing to cast it aside for convienience. That is more than just a shame.

I truly hope this petition is successful! Too often, we're so quick to tear down and erase what once was so beautiful vs. restoring and and giving new purpose to these precious ties to the past.

While I live in Escondido, California, part of my heart is still in Mendham, Ralston, Chester area. Each time I come back East, another memory has been erased. Please save Sunnyside for future generations.

This house is not just a house but a constant reminder of where we came from and how we developed. It is a part of our history and is a necessary part of the community. It was an inspiration for me in my photography class and landed me a 4 on my AP 2D Art and Design test. It was a huge part of my successes and my junior year of high school. Please do not let it be forgotten and washed away from our community, it would be a tragedy.

We must work to maintain builds like this of historical significance and merit. What do we have if we don't have history?
