This needless loss of life must stop. Vaccinate badgers and cattle. Protect and care for all living things, especially our wildlife.

I live in Gloucestershire and the cull here this summer was a complete fiasco. The only thing worth learning was that the Government should completely rethink their policy on controlling TB in cattle

Culling badgers is a crazy way to deal with the TB problem with cattle. It's expensive, needless loss of life with no guaranteed results or benefits. The only sure way to protect cattle is to vaccinate them and/or find ways to protect their farm land from intruders like Badgers.

It hasn't worked in Somerset . It's despicable to kill these beautiful creatures when there's at least one alternative

How many 'culled' badgers are tested for TB?
Farmers on the Felixstowe peninsular were concerned about bovine TB in the 1950s.Almost every farm had cattle then,
I don't think there was a badger in the area in those days

This kind of cull is obscene ... may be we should start with a cull of the non-elected EU bureaucrats !

There is questionable evidence of the need for such a cull. The cull to date appears to have been a disaster. Suffolk County Council needs to take note that local people do not want this inhumane cull and stop it happening on their land.

Better bio security, strong penalties for farmers who flout them and vaccination, only way forward. Badger cull is wrong.

Highly regarded experts are able to present compelling arguments on both sides of this issue. It is therefore obvious that a consensus needs to be achieved on an acceptable way forward to combatting this terrible disease affecting badgers and other wildlife as well as commercial herds. It is inhumane to attempt to kill our way out of this dilemma as well as counter productive to any sensible alternative.

We have campaigned again and again to DEFRA , our MP and we will keep fighting for our badgers. No more senseless, cruel and barbaric treatment of these animals.

Murdering badgers IS NOT necessary - the cull WILL NOT solve bTB!
