Stout Coffee was a place my son felt comfortable when he was living in Stout Hall as an honor student. Many of the students are uncomfortable in the larger venues on campus when they first arrive at college. Stout Coffee gives them a place to be relaxed around other students with the same academic goals. Please reconsider closing this business, My son often commented about the lady that runs Stout Coffee as a trusted person that understood the introverted personalities of a lot of the students...Honor Students tend to be a bit more reserved and Stout Coffee was a place they could work on their social skills in a safe environment.
