I am an OSU alumnus and a parent of an OSU undergrad who lives in Stout Hall. I like knowing there is a place that is clean, classy, and welcoming for my son to eat, study, and relax. Stout Coffee is one of Stout Hall's major selling points; it would be both distressing and detrimental to the students if Stout Coffee were closed.

Stout Coffee has been a place where I've gone for the last few years to get a nice hot breakfast. It's one of the only dining options on campus that protects your sanity by reminding you of good home cooking. Spread the word, save Stout Coffee!

Lived in 175 last year. Loved Stout coffee for the quick breakfast option it gave me on my way to class... having a hot breakfast option where I could eat while running a load of laundry was awesome as well.

While Stout will remain in its current location on the far southwestern side of campus, the majority of the student body living in campus is gradually shifting north. The food concepts will follow, leaving the Scott/Parker/Wentz without their easy access to food as well. From my experience living in the dorm, I support giving the honors community a social setting that is primarily theirs. Stout Coffee is treasured, and there is affection for the long-standing employees. A family atmosphere that fosters friendship and academic success cannot be taken from the students who give face to the university. Trust me when I say the other non-traditional dorms can never aid and in fact inhibit positive social growth. Stout's residents are campus and university leaders, and the university should recognize this and therefore award these students for their academic accomplishments that ultimately bring more positive press to OSU.

I love Stout Cafe, and I don't even drink coffee (or live in Stout for that matter). I have been known to walk all the way accross campus just to grab a chicken wrap from Stout though, mainly because it is one of the few places on campus where you can get something to eat which won't make you feel like garbage for the rest of the day. Keep it open!

Great place to go study, especially for residents of Stout Hall. All other campus dining is located at a good 10 minutes' walk away, so it is very convenient for students in this corner of campus.
