With all my heart I hope stober stays open since we transferred in from our neighborhood school which was deteriorating and we finally found a place that my daughter can thrive and feel secure and safe in a loving and supportive environment.

My nephew attends and loves this school. It's devastating to a child when he is forced to move schools. He will not only lose his teachers, but his friends... This is the only school he has attended.

Please reconsider. This is an amazing school and closing it would be a huge mistake! From the mom of a very happy 1st grader.

We moved two blocks from this school three years ago. Our twins are now in the third grade. Closing a living breathing solid performing school at capacity makes no sense.

School closures should be absolute last resort. Cut admin. Raise athletic fees and seek other sources of funding. Come back in Nov of 17 with a revised bond request

I am a Stober alumna and now an elementary teacher myself. I value the small community Stober provided, as I now work at a k-8 school with nearly 1000 students. A small community school shapes students' character in a way that is challenging in larger school settings. More value should be placed on small neighborhood schools like Stober!
