Fantastic school, my son has progressed to a A* pupil despite suffering extreme bullying in the previous school ~ this school needs to stay open

Many children at St Michael would not survive in a big school. Indeed someof them have already gone through hatdship including being bullied in some lmuch larger counterparts. People tend to put too much trunt in Ofsted and the league table to see what's real worth in an individual school. St Michael provides our shy girl perfect opportunity to flourish both academically and socially. Her future dependson this small, friendly school, how the school stay same, keep their small school ethos intact despite the unfortunate circumstances.

St Michaels is a wonderful school and was a happy, supportive environment for my son who left with a fantastic set of GCSE results.

I chose st michaels for the class sizes . when my daughter is struggling with her work she gets noticed by all of her teachers, great atmosphere at the school.

The class sizes will not be changing and there are no plans to move any students around unless they really want to, unless Camborne School sponsors us, we are gone! I was bullied at my primary school sure, but St. Michaels is for everyone and is not focused on any particular sets of children. The schools environment is similar to any other schools and is nothing outstanding, like our OFSTED report which was two "satisfactory" marks and two "to be improved". I understand that for some people, the school is the most relevant or the closest etc etc but we do not need saving at the moment!

My daughter started in yr7 at CSIA and after going there for 4 months, being bullied every day and being so unhappy I had to walk her to school everyday to make sure she actually went in, I decided to change her to St.Michaels, and now instead of being a really depressed child who just didn't want to go outside the door at all, she is so happy and confident and this is all down to St.Michael's. She has refused to go to CSIA again and I personally wouldn't put her through that again.

It all boils down to pure greed, the fat cats are getting fatter and they do not care who they crush on their way! Yes we needed a new sponsor, but figures and statistics mean more to them than the feelings of all the children and all staff of the school. I hope thief see this petition and see that parents will not just roll over and let the sponsors change everything that St Michael's stands for...!!

The entire point of the sponsorship was to allow the school to continue like everyone says it does. Everyone is saying it needs to survive because their children require certain things there. That reason is exactly why we need the sponsor

My son had been so serverly bullied at his old school since coming to St Michaels he's come on leaps and bounds and is now in a very good place because of St Michaels school don't shut down our children's school
