Many children at St Michael would not survive in a big school. Indeed someof them have already gone through hatdship including being bullied in some lmuch larger counterparts. People tend to put too much trunt in Ofsted and the league table to see what's real worth in an individual school. St Michael provides our shy girl perfect opportunity to flourish both academically and socially. Her future dependson this small, friendly school, how the school stay same, keep their small school ethos intact despite the unfortunate circumstances.

Fantastic school, my son has progressed to a A* pupil despite suffering extreme bullying in the previous school ~ this school needs to stay open

It will be a very sad day if this school closes, there are no other free small school in the area. Children and parents deserve the choice whether to send their children to a large Academy or a small Secondary school.
