If the government can bail the banks out, then they can help the steel workers, its these people that are part of the backbone of this country, not the shiney arses who run the banks etc. Get it sorted Cameron.

My husband has been a steel worker for 40 yrs now. This will have a devastating effect on not only our family and Morgage etc. But it will have a major impact on all the dedicated steelworkers out there. I think our government need to take a look at this and recon up all the millions of pounds they will be taking off the people of the UK via tax etc to pay the poor people "benefits" for years to come!!! Dedicated people that do not want to join the dole queue for abducting have never done so all their working lives... there will be thousands of people that have their lives destroyed...loose their homes... have possible marriage breakdowns due to no monthly income....this will also mean that the "government " local councils and tax payers of great Britten will have to fund the re - housing of the these dedicated workers and their family's when they cannot afford a Morgage anymore. ... absolutely bloody shocking...iam actually ashamed to say iam British at this moment in time as all the other steel industry's abroad have been through similar processes and their government has helped them!!!! Why are we bits under this government and laws singled out???
