Its a massive part of our history. Closure will effect thousands of famillies locally and we alreafy have a very high unemployment rate in the north east.

Redcar steel is a very important part to Teesside for jobs etc and do not want it taken away

Saving Redcar steelworks will also save Redcar as so many small businesses in the town are reliant on the spending power of the steel workers.

If the government can support banks in financial trouble then they should support the heavy industry. Teesside steel will become profitably again they just need a helping hand. Don't consign Teesside to the scrapheap
