We need to look after our core industries. This country needs to become stronger, and not continue to sell out its industry to overseas investors that grow strong on British workers profits. Enough is enough. Germany is strong because it looks after its core industries. Britain needs to grow up and re-build its core industries. We can not survive on ' service' industries, and skills alone. We need to build and trade products built in Great Britain, from British owned companies!!. ..... If it's not already too late! If Tata don't want to make steel. Great it's about time the British Government, and the British public step up, put there hands in their pockets and start to make Britain Great again!

Do not turn your back on the N.E., yet again. No Industry left! Skilled people and communities being wiped out! We now import coal, why? Churchill would never have scrapped the Mining Industry! Next , import Steel? This area is becoming a Ghost Place, with just 'good' memories.

Disgusting this government has allowed the steel industry in Teesside and the UK come to this, typical Tories - one wonders if it would have been different if Teesside had been just outside London - would they have helped save it then instead of letting it die. RIP Steel on Teesside
