Its a disgrace that our Government thinks so little of our Teeside Steelworkers and instead will turn to inferior , subsidised steel from China. Cheapness does not equal quality and at what cost to our English workforce. Shame on you Mr Cameron.

Tata also own Tetley Tea. As the workman and their cuppa are inseperable, I'm asking everyone to boycott Tetley. They treat their teapickers appallingly too.

The steel works must be saved at all costs as once gone they will be lost forever. Market conditions will change and we need the ability to build our own infrastructure with our own steel. The government must intervene even if this breaks EU rules on competition!

Divert all aid to India (TaTa was the first company to close Redcar) to the increasingly affected areas. Charity begins at home. Let India learn to distribute the wealth it creates at our expense more fairly.

We can't call it British Steel anymore due to government selling it off, but let's keep what little manufacturing we have left in this country. For god sake we have all seen what the service sector can do to us with the bankers, manufacturing is good honest hard work the likes of witch built this country.

This current dictatorship of a so called government do not seem to care about Britain or its people. All Cameron and his followers are capable of it would seem, is to sell off all our assets to overseas companies and at the same time pocketing the proceeds and building up their offshore hedge fund bank balances. I can only suppose that this government will rely on China to also supply the required steel for the new atomic power plants and the rails for the new high speed railways. All of which will never be to British standards.
