We need to save what little remains of our once great steel making industry and the Redcar plant and its workforce are a vital fundamental component of an industrial nation like ours.

This is a vital industry especially for this area. It should be saved for generations to come and those young people who had been looking forward to doing their apprenticeships there. Very sad the goveremt are not listening

As a previous resident of Teesside, I know how economically depressed it is. Closure of Redcar's steelworks would be a terrific blow to the community.
