its to easy to close something rather than make it work. Surely the government can bail this industry like it did the banks the same result will be the fact that the employees won't have work and will loose their homes in return the government will have not only need to pay for higher unemployment but also assist in housing. Think outside the box for once

As much as I love the virtual shops I just can't take the wave of depression & increase in crime rates that generally follow poverty around like a bad smell! If we can bail out bankers why can't we help people who actually work for a living??!

The steelworks are the history and future in Teesside . To let the blast die and have to re invest in future could be saved . Our area is based around the works you are killing a town and the future.
