The arts are always the first to go in public schools. Stanton is exceptional in so many ways, and it would spit in the face of our reputation if we were to cave in to this disturbing trend. Keep Stanton exceptional. Don't shaft the arts.

Stanton's band is a major part of what few traditions we have left. Our school has a rich history, and it would be a shame to deny it.

The band was one of the best part of football games. They powered the 12th man through some bad ball to have a great time. Keep the band Traditional.

It's sad that we can even think of losing music as something tolerable. I will not sit idle and watch the efforts and emotions of my peers go to hell. This will not stand.
