All my maternal relatives have attended Saint Norbert Church in Munger, Michigan for generations. Making the parishioners of this farming community drive over ten miles into the bigger cities of Bay City or Saginaw is not fair.

Don't sell! This was a financially and vibrant church with a strong faith community. People are now true "Roman Catholics." Roaming from church to church wanting to feel welcomed and apart of the church, but it's not home. You may say move on! It's very hard when you grew up, participated and help the church grow through the years. Several churches did need to close and merge. Not St Norbert's. Stay strong St Norbert's and Munger!

My church was recently sold without asking so I know exactly how the parishioners feel.

Well I believe the best thing to do here is the community of Munger should buy this church and set up and pay for their own priests to come in and make this church your own community church! God is in any place where there are two or more and you believe

This happens far too often in communities like that of my own. I hope that this One Signature does make a difference!!! Recall the Parable from this past weekends Gospel. Lets cultivate and nourish the soil of this faith community so that in the future the fruit harvested will be plentiful as well as in excess! Amen!
