Keep this church in Munger. God's word still needs to be heard along with more memories whether weddings, death, gatherings, etc. Our family and many community residents made it happen along with the great priests that made us feel welcome. Keep the church open as a Catholic Church.

So sad to do this to the people. They will not even give us an early mass for the farmers. We started the church the least they could do it give us a 7:00 mass.

Although I don't live in Munger, I have lots of memories eat Saint Norbert's church. Many family weddings... even a couple funerals. Please don't close this church as it has many ties to our rural families; I look forward to it having many ties for my children and future generations to come !

Noooooo!!!! I was married there 46 yrs ago. My children were baptised there. There is nothing wrong with the church, it is beautiful and a shame to sell it.

I grew up going to St. Norbert. I've recently moved back to Munger and am very disappointed to find out what is happening to my church. This has torn a hole in this small community.

I know first hand how devastating it is to lose your church home and church family. I pray they reconsider.

It is very upsetting that
St. Norbert's could be sold. I have a lot of memories from this church from first communion, confirmation and my parents' funerals. Please do not sell it!

Friends - A small rural farm country church, St. Norbert's, in Munger is very close to being sold as part of Bishop Cistone's plan to close multiple churches in our diocese. We were told, when this process was started years ago, it was inevitable that our church would loose it's weekend mass and that it would only be allowed to be used for special occasions. We lost our weekend masses over a year ago and the use for special occasions will soon end. My family, this community and friends of St. Norbert's will be loosing something very special if that were to happen.

It is very sad and disturbing that the diocese closed this church in the first place when they were a thriving, self sufficient parish. Even more disturbing now to hear that the diocese is going back on it's origninal word and now planning to sell the church. One would expect better from the Christian leadership. Please do not sell St. Norbert's!
