Sad Day for the parishioners that made this church possible for well over 100 years! And now sold to a 1/2 way or foster center. Would have been nice that it remained a church. But now the beautiful holdings and peoples hard work will be destroyed. Thanks to our leaders in the Saginaw Diocese Office. You .

A sad day indeed I can recall having mass in the basement of the school while this church, the second on this site, was being built. I know it needs money and people to keep going, that is a fact.

St. Norbert Catholic Church was my parish as a child. I was married there also. It is a beautiful church and loved for years by many. Why not make it a mission parish? Give the community their church back. This is the year of Mercy. Show some mercy on St. Norbert Catholic Church. Selling the church at this time is just wrong .

I grew up attending St Norberts with my family pre-school, beyond graduation. Eventhough my parents were forced to attend a different Catholic church, upon closing. St Norberts will always be their church. Especially my fathers heart aches for the closing still. The congregation IS a family and the Diocese has torn this apart. Every Sunday has been taken away. Please leave the community at least with the occasional masses.

I grew up in this church. First communion, confirmation, I would hate to see it sold.

It's a dirty shame if a church is active that they want to close it and then sell it.

A sad day for the Catholic Church and the parishioners of Saint Norberts. It appears the Diocese of Saginaw is more concerned regarding the limited number of priests instead of taking care of the church congregations.

This is a horrible injustice to the members who worked so hard to have a successful Parish...my grandparents Ernie and Rose Spychalski along with all other members do not deserve this. The Dioceses should be ashamed!

I was baptized there so was my son and attended CCD and also helped clean the church as my father was the janitor for over 20 years. My mom also was the housekeeper for several priests. It was a very large part of our family's life and it would be sad to see it sold after so many in the community kept it a thriving church. This has impacted so many on all levels. The bishop should be ashamed!

I'm almost 92 years old and have been a parishener all my life at St Norbert's. My parents, brothers and I built and supported the old and new church. A lot of hard work, personal time and money to make it what it is was.
I am one of the oldest parishener at St Norbert's and wish it was still there for me and my family.
The bishop took my church away!
Where will the church be for me when I need it?
Save my church!
