Please help us save our rural Catholic church in Munger, MI. We had a thriving, financially stable and self sufficient parish when the Saginaw Diocese decided to close our church and merge our parish with St Judes of Bay City. During that process we were told we could keep our church for occasional use....weddings, funerals, special services. The sale of the church was never mentioned as a consideration. Now, however, the Saginaw Diocese is in the process of selling our church. Please help our parish community in our final effort to stop the Saginaw Diocese from selling our church.

This is a horrible injustice to the members who worked so hard to have a successful Parish...my grandparents Ernie and Rose Spychalski along with all other members do not deserve this. The Dioceses should be ashamed!
All my maternal relatives have attended Saint Norbert Church in Munger, Michigan for generations. Making the parishioners of this farming community drive over ten miles into the bigger cities of Bay City or Saginaw is not fair.
We the people of the community of God have attended this church and was saddened to have it close. Now to sell it after being told we could keep it for special occasions. Not so honest. We have always been taught honesty. Save the church, please.
Is it not enough that many hearts were broken by the closure? Must we now endure the sale of our church as well? And what of all the furnishings, many which were donated by parishioners in memory of their deceased loved ones? This is a travesty!
A "For Sale" sign in front of a beautiful church like St. Norbert's, and soon in front of other Bay City Catholic churches says to me, "Don't Come. Half of the Catholic churches in Bay City are closed." It sounds like "We are dying". Will that attract new members, or even bring former members back??
Sad Day for the parishioners that made this church possible for well over 100 years! And now sold to a 1/2 way or foster center. Would have been nice that it remained a church. But now the beautiful holdings and peoples hard work will be destroyed. Thanks to our leaders in the Saginaw Diocese Office. You .
A nice church in a needed area. Thanks
