As a past pupil of St. Mark's I am appalled that the children will be deprived of such an amazing school

I am totally appalled at the decision to go ahead with this move now that I have discovered there will not in fact be a new school building and facilities provided for my child but simply a supposed upgrade of the substandard St Luke's building. I feel as a parent I have been deliberately misled throughout this process. St marks is an absolutely amazing school that in no way shape or form should be shut down. My daughter thoroughly enjoyed her first year there and I feel this move will be truly disruptive to her education. Had I have wanted my child to attend St Luke's I would have enrolled her there. I chose St marks because it has such high standards. Totally disgusted! SAVE ST MARKS

I have lost faith in the education system and ministers looking after this situation. The parents of the children of St marks have been manipulated in to thinking that our kids were going to a brand new building with upgraded facilities. Instead the kids are being moved a substandard building and facilities that will probably slow their progress rather that help further it. If I had known this was the long term plan of the board and their complete disregard for my child's welfare I would have sent her to a different school. My daughter loved her first year in the reception class and her teachers were amazing and helped her immensely. The move will disrupt the progress she has made and the trust she has built up with the teachers from St marks.

I went to St Marks and this school taught me so many amazing things, this school doesn't NEED to close down and there is certainty no need for a new school, we as a community want St Marks to stay open, SAVE our school because it is OUR school!

The kids education is being played with at the hands of ccms and the trustees. Keep st marks open until funds for a new school have been secured!!!
