The actions of the Archdiocese are abhorrent, taking such action while cloaked in the vieil of the cover of the pandemic. The ones who suffer the most are the children who are being cast out of the one place they should be dale to be safe.

St Jerome’s has been on the list for closure since the 1970’s. Parents did everything asked of them to keep it open. They were diligent in raising money from every source available, from fundraising and increasing tuition. The faculty encouraged the students to reach out to those in need and help them when and where they could. The closing of this asset to the community is a tremendous loss not just for the school children but from those who benefitted by their kindness and charitable deeds.

This is a great school and community. At. Jerome’s students and family do not deserve a school closure. I do not think this is part of God’s plan. What seems difficult and the end it is often the new beginning. Do not close the school make it shine again!
