My great niece Keely Enjy has attended SJS since she started school she is now finishing up second grade the current Coronavirus has taken so much from her & her classmates I ask please don't take their school is only 8 years old but she is absolutely heart broken.

If we keep closing our Catholic schools at this rate, we won’t be able to keep parishes full. I am very saddened by the path the Archdiocese is choosing.

SJS is an educational shining star on the south shore and without question it provides an exceptional education to its students. This school should remain open to continue to provide the highest benchmark in K-8 eduction. It would be a shame to lose this valuable asset.

I graduated from SJS in 2014, my brother has asked graduated in 2016, now my youngest brother will be a seventh grader and deserves to be graduate just like we did. It is unfair for a school such as this one to close down. It’s not just a school, it’s a home with a family.

The education I recieved from SJS set me up for success in life and had brought me to where I am currently. I completed college with a cum laude and am currently seeking enrollment in law school. All of this after completion of a 20 year career as part of the United States Army. My resilience and persistence can be accredited to the morals and educational foundation I received during my 8 plus years of academic and spiritual education i recieved from this wonderful school.

St. Jerome's provides an excellent education to the students enrolled there. They should be able to receive the same, exceptional education as they have been receiving. There is no need to close the school.

Please keep this wonderful school. I have one school who graduated from there and another one who is currently enrolled. The education they received is absolutely great and my grandson are better prepared to enter college and enter high school. Please keep it open!!!
