Why is this church, which has supported the Catholic faith of so many for so long, be closed if it is self-sufficient??

My mom was baptized at St. Elizabeth's in 1924. It would be a shame for this church to cease to exist.

Please do not close this church. The deaf community deserve to have a Catholic Church where they can worship in their own language.

I'm a deaf young adult. I've been searching for Deaf/or signing priests & came upon this wonderful church in NY with Fr McCahill. Please do not close it. The Catholic Church needs to continue to shepard and administer to the Deaf needs by having their OWN parish.

I would like the hearing impaired parishioners to be able to keep their church. It would be a great shame for them to lose such a wonderful place to worship.

As an intern at my local councilmembers office in northern manhattan, I strongly endorse the campaign to keep the church open to the public and parishioners.
