Please do not forsake our Catholic American Seniors, for where will they go. My mother, Mary, is Hungarian and devoted to St. Elizabeth of Hungary Church. This church is critical to seniors and the hearing challenged and will bring about a tremendous hardship. With disabilities, my mother and others will be denied the physical ability to attend church which is, the breath and light of one's spiritual being. Most important, it is one's priority in this time of life to continue to serve and participate in Mass.Don't deny our seniors, if so, those, will be responsiible for disquishing the faith and accountability of our faith. Save our St. Elizabeth of Hungary Church. God help us all.

Please keep this church open. Neighborhood churches mean the world to the community it belongs to and taking away their House of Prayer is just heartless. Please reconsider.

Neighborhood Churches such as St. Elizabeth of Hungary are the backbone of many New York City communities. There are many, many, many other ways for the Church to save money. Closing our church should not be one of them.

I am saddened that the Archdiocese would ignore teh ministry to the deaf begun at this church in favor of monetary gain. This closure does not represent the will of the people of the Arichdiocese.

The deaf community continues to be marginalized in our society, please don't allow the Archdiocese to do the same, our Church teaches us to be the champions of those groups that have been marginalized in our society. We must follow what the Lord has taught us to do.

please help keep this church open! it is where my brother and my sister in law have called home for many years. for the Deaf community it isnt as easy as merging into another church. this is their church! lets fight to save it!!
