Please show mercy. St. Elizabeth has open heart for all. And have work hard to build a safe haven for the deaf community. Please help to keep St. Elizabeth open to continue to show faith, hope, love.

I lived at 246 East 83rd. Steet in the 1970s and it a special Parrish for me as l always walked past each morning and night, and Crossing myself, as l passed the Church, l will get as much word out as you need. My reason was l renovated and rebuilt the small house at 246 East 83rd, and received a new C.O., it was my prayers that got me through in the 70s when NYC was fiscally in its worst financial trouble; l have left my email address if you need any help, because it was my first home in New York, sad that l sold it too soon because of a back injury; that was January 1979; one of my sad days in my life; there was still bad economic time, and the sale helpt me to get through while l was on Dissability.

Please save this church for the deaf in our Archdiocesan Community. This is a great disservice to the the deaf Catholic Community. The Archdiocese has somehow forgotten those in need. This church must remain open for our fellow Catholics to be able to really celebrate and be a part of the Mass. Thank you

St. Elizabeth Church and the hearing impaired is a family that needs each other. Allow this community to continue to flourish in the years to come. Don't tear this family apart.
