I worked with Sr. Maggi many years ago at Cathedral in Belleville. She was a dedicated teacher and a fun person. I hope those who value Catholic Education don't turn their backs on someone who had dedicated their life to educating and preparing our children for life. This is a social justice issue - one we preach to those we teach. Good luck, Maggi - hope this helps.

I don't know what to say... it makes me so sad and I can't imagine SCB without her dedication and commitment to these kids. We need her and want her - plain and simple. She is a great role model and not only a gift to the students but for us parents too! She makes everyone a better person and has made a tremendous impact on the lives of so many students. Love her! Appreciate her! Prayers for her!!

Sr. Maggi was one of my favorite teachers. She always treated me with kindness and respect. I have 2 sisters at borromeo and we would all be sad if she left!!

As A family member from the late Monsignor Michael Owens, I feel a special bond with St Charles Borromeo. Sister Maggi has such a good response with children I believe Father Mike would have done every thing he could to keep her. I have friends who have their children enrolled there and because it is such a positive environment for children. I only pray you will listen to the people who make your parish flourish to this day. Save Sister Maggi's job. She is needed and will make a difference in our children's lives!!!

I can't believe that such a dedicated and talented teacher would be asked to resign. Not to mention the decades of service she had given to the school and community. In the Catholic Church are we not encouraged now more than ever to honor our vocations? She is after all the last nun in a CATHOLIC SCHOOL. Enough said.
