It is not ok to change the name of Squaw Creek. It has been called that for over 100 years. My great grandfather moved there from Ruby Washington. My grandfather was born in a cabin just up the canyon from Rains Trout farm. The Methow is rich with Native American culture and names.
Please do the right thing and leave things as they are. It's too bad when things are changed due to someone being offended by something they don't understand.
