It's crazy to think the beautiful area we live in is going to be overtaken by housing. It's will affect not only the well being and health of the village but also the safety of our kids due to increased traffic and no space to enjoy
too much development happened all ready! This be too many cars, people and will cause disruption

I am very opposed to any further building in Springwell / Eighton Banks. The roads cannot sustain any more traffic they already very busy and used as a rat run when the motorway is clogged.

Springwell Village should be a blueprint for the powers that be to replicate. It has community spirit, neighbours who know each other and look out for each other, residents who have a pride in their property and their village, and it's surroundings. Who would want to destroy this? Look and learn from the mistakes of the past. I for one would not like the destruction of Springwell Village and it's community spirit on my conscience.

I live in Leam lane which is near to this and I totally agree with the residents of springwell village that the green belt needs saving.Not only because of the horses grazing and the wildlife but it will spoil the village if a load of houses are built all around it.

Refurbish all boarded up houses in run down areas and build on brown field sites before building on green belt.
How dare the Council sell our greenbelt for housing. The land belongs to the local taxpayers, we do not want houses built on this land.
