Developers build on too many green belt sites while brown field sites lie undeveloped. We must protect the green belt for future generations.

The village has one roed in one road out, which is congested now,so to put more pressure on this road is madness,

i do not think i can sign this as a resident but for what it is worth i was born in the mount village and my child hood was spent round this really magical area and it would be a shame if other children could not enjoy it as we did exploring this sort of development destroys more than fields

This plan would not only have an impact on Springwell but Eighton Banks as well. Funny how you can't do too much to your existing house because of planning law but when the big boys want it the councils roll over and let them. What next the wind farm on Blackhams Hill

I live in Whitley Bay and I know how hard it is to get councillors and developers to listen to the residents concerns for our town so best of luck with your petition.

Building on these green areas aren’t just going to adversely affect the quality of life of those in Springwell but also for the other residents of and visitors to Gateshead. I don’t live in Springwell but I do live in Gateshead and enjoy walks with my children around these areas earmarked for development. I will seriously consider moving to another area if building commences on this greenbelt.
