Yes exactly! Oh, and the local Council need cash for their up and coming Tall Ships Race event. At our expense though! Money comes before sense. Money, money, money. There's no incentive for the village folk to accept proposals. They can keep their Tall Ships Race. Without Prejudice.

I'm 56 years old and have lived in Springwell for most of those years until recently. These fields were my playground, part of my learning and a small haven for wildlife. they should remain as greenbelt. If someone wants to built new affordable houses there is plenty of brownfield land in Washington, Gateshead and Birtley.

To much traffic already coming through our village, parking outside of the new agents and in the bus stop is an accident waiting to happen. The traffic calming outside of the school is already Larry dangerous with many drivers no taking notice of the road signs. Increasing the amount of houses in the village will have a big impact on out already overcrowded roads

I have lived in the village for six years and adjacent to it in Eighton Banks for twelve years. I and my family would be devistated if the area was developed into an extention of urban concentration, destroying our village way of life.

we need this green belt to be saved. Springwell village is a beautiful and friendly place. The village and surrounding greenbelt is unique and must be saved as well as the wildlife and countryside that could be lost forever....once this has gone then it's gone forever

My relatives live here and its a wonderful place and community, it is a village that would be SPOILT if the surrounding fields are built apon. The fields must not be built on!!

Hellens has no interest in the welfare of Springwell Village but just to make a big profit from building on green belt land. It would be very interesting to know what financial clause Gair had in the contract if developed upon

Parking outside the shop is short term , if we put yellow lines there then people will only park outside your house further up the road or again in fell road which is also a problem,double parking , parking on the path,bus cant get through
I love living here just ask that people that come here just be more caring of the village and the people that live here.Thanks
