Please don't spoil our beautiful village. The wonderful community spirit is here because it is a village. The infrastructure and road network is struggling as it is. More houses will certainly cause serious difficulties.

I have travelled the world and seen a number of beutiful places but nothing matches the scenary and freshness that coming home to Springwell Village offers. Leave our fields and greenbelts in tact.

Green Belt land is designated as such to protect our communities from urban sprawl and to protect local wildlife. Sunderland's population is in fact declining. If housing is to be built at all it should be on brownfield sites.

Opposed to develoment on this greenbelt land as >100 houses have already been recently built nearby. This is a disaster for the local environment and will add to current traffic problems. There are plenty of brownfield sites available for construction of houses.

Building on green belt land is unnecessary and unwelcome. Please do not destroy Sprinwell village.
