My family has built our life around this mine and watching the signature count rise gives me hope that we can keep our home together. We need to push harder to reach our goal so the local council sees exactly how many of us are refusing to give up.

Watching this list grow reminds me of the nights I spent worrying about our future in Greymouth. If we hit the next hundred signatures today we will have the leverage we need to finally be taken seriously by the council.

KEEP IT OPEN. Tired of greedy people ruining our economy.
Greymouth is nothing without the mine. My grandfather worked there and my son needs a job too. stop closing everything down!
Total disgrace. They dont care about the people living here at all.
My husband has worked at Spring Creek for years. We cant just pack up and move like you people think. Save our town.
So many families are struggling right now. This place keeps the lights on for the whole town.
