My long time friends and neighbors Lopez And Macias family son and daughter attend this school I am sad to hear they might loose there school.

1 Alumni, 2 current students, 1 incoming 8th graders for 2017-18 and an incoming 2020-2021 cadet. We NEED THIS SCHOOL...

This has been a great experience for my son and daughter, I would hate to see all their hard work be gone because of this merge. I'm getting ready to send my daughter off to college all because of the tireless efforts from this school, the counselor and the wonderful teachers.

This school by far has kept my son on top of his grades and also kept him out of trouble. Regular schools are corrupted with mean kids and interferes with studies, please keep this school open even if we have to pay tuition fees to help keep it open

Ever since my niece and nephew started attending this school, I saw a huge improvement, the way they treat others, they show respect, focus, they set goals like they never did before. I believe the school should remain open! Thank you.

I worked with this program since it's inception and can attest to the wonderful work they do with students. This is a program that helps students stay in school, prepare a pathway to college, careers and beyond, and gives them the life skills they need to succeed. Please keep this program for future generations. I'm no longer employed in this district but I continue to hear of the great work of this program.

The Southeast Academy High School, in partnership with Norwalk-La Mirada Unified School District and the Southeast Regional Occupational Program, provides rigorous and relevant academic high school curriculum to prepare highly motivated young men and women for careers in law enforcement, military, fire sciences and related fields. Southeast Academy High School is a highly structured, leadership-based education environment combined with a focus on Public Service Career Pathways. Leadership traits and principles are highly valued and enforced on a daily basis. A school where cadets learn to understand the relationship between academic achievement and success in the work place and develop skills necessary to make well-informed career choices. Relocating the staff and students would be detrimental toward the program and everything that it stands for. Students that developed hope to succeed in life while in this program would lose any chance that they had to succeed by being forced to transfer back to their assigned school districts. These students are instilled respect, loyalty, hard work, responsibility and giving up is NEVER an option. The future of America is in your hands!
