I am Kristian Maranon, I graduated in Southeast Academy High School in 2011 with a rank of Captain. I was an executive officer my senior year. This school has taught me everything i need to know in life. I am now in an HR position at Concentric Healthcare Staffing. I am who i am today because of Southeast Academy. I strongly do not agree with the district about how they want to incorporate Southeast to a regular High School. Southeast Academy is not a regular High School. It's an opportunity to better yourself or to expand your knowledge about life and school. Southeast was the best thing that ever happened to me. I came from a regular High School before Southeast. We are way beyond our rank, uniform, or positions. We always say, people who doesn't go or didn't go to Southeast will never understand what is Southeast is really about. It's much more than its name, its family. If you take this family relationship away on behalf of my 2011 class, previous class, & current class you are taking away the best thing that have ever taught us everything we need to know after High School. The district will put all our hardwork to waste including all of the staff of Southeast Academy behind our success.

This school has such great reputation please do not close. It would be a shame for the students to loose such a great opportunity. I have seen first hand the result of this curriculum and I am impressed.
