You can't close every place where family's and many young people attend. By the way the government and local councils are going, there will be nowhere left for such people to go. Many schools attend leisure centres across South Ribble, there children can learn to swim who otherwise wouldn't have the chance to due to living in a deprived area, or simply not being able to. Shutting these places down would therefore affect the most vulnerable in society, and we cannot let that happen!

As the current Mayor of Penwortham I especially want the Penwortham Leisure Centre to remain open but also the Leisure Centres in Leyland and Bamber Bridge plus the Tennis Club there.
