This is not the right time to make changes after the year these kids have been through. Not to mention you have no idea what enrollment will be in the fall after so many families left CMS this year.

South Meck is a shining example of the type of successful diverse school that CMS should be celebrating and protecting! Not tearing apart. Why the board keep trying to sabotage it’s few success stories.

This move would not benefit anybody in the language program or South Meck - please leave this successful program alone!

Why does CMS constantly try to undermine the success at South Meck? They are constantly yanking strong students from the school and adding those with more challenges. So now, they take a successful magnet away? It seems like they're out to undermine a successful diverse school-thought that was the whole point/vision for our school district!

A successful world language program in a school with students representing 60+ countries makes sense. A world view and inclusive experience for those interested in a broader more inclusive education.

This is a successful program at SMHS. Moving the magnet program under the guise of alleviating overcrowding at MPHS & SMHS is more accurately an overt attempt to move high performing students out of a very diverse high school. No such sacrifice is being proposed for MPHS. This makes no sense.
