This lovely garden is a thing of beauty, which is worthwhile in and of itself. It is also so much more: a treasure trove of educational resources, a place to pause and be calm, a rich field of inspiration, a hallmark of community, and a window into the natural world. For these and so many other reasons, we must save the Smartville gardens!

One of the reasons I choiced my daughter to this school and paid the out of county fees was because of these types of programs. Children must learn about food and nature if we are too preserve our way of life.
