Small business is driving the economy. People who are in their late 60s and early 70s are still in business struggling to make ends meet. We should be having less taxes on those business and owners and thereby freeing up more money to be put into the economy which will encourage more growth and more people and business to pay taxes at a sustainable rate.

It is absolutely shameful that the Liberals are attacking the middle class, such as farmers, and inciting a class war. I detest the Liberal's cunning and underhanded timing of this policy; I believe they deliberately chose this time of year because it is a busy time for many people especially those who are away on vacation, those harvesting and those others dealing with back to school issues. Shameful all round. I am happy to support our farmers who are the backbone of our fine country.

Owners of small business have been doing the right thing, the legal thing according to the current tax laws and now they are being called tax cheaters. Please - I'm almost certain that any of these owners wouldn't mind the same pensions and benefits that our elected federal officials find at the end of their careers...

This is poorly thought out tax reform ... it will have far reaching negative affects on many people and will result in less investment overall ... the Liberals are trying to sell this as a fairness proposition - but it's nothing more than a tax grab.

I'm a small business owner in the Kingston area and although we are corporate we are also effected highly from this as we're a smaller chain .

This will massively impact our economy forcing some small businesses to either shut down altogether or at the very least lay off employers. And what about the B2B impact this will have as well? Do what you are in government for and start LISTENING to people who are impacted greatly by this rarther than sitting back with the salaries WE are paying you and looking blindly at the effects this will have on millions of Canadians!

One of the main platforms of the liberal party's election campaign was to revitalize the middle class. With the new working reality in our country, more and more middle class people are being forced to start their own companies. These proposed changes will cripple them even more in their efforts to support themselves and their families.
