I've lived here all my life and believe the foreshore site should stay .. we have already LOST half of skegness to charity shops and betting shops, no wonder everyone says we have NOTHING HERE .. I think the council should sell the field to the locals .. ALL LOCALS that have lived here for a certain amount of time SHOULD be given the oppertunity to buy shares in it .. that way it will NEVER be sold and be saved for generations to follow .. !!!

ELDC show you care about the residents of Skegness and Allow Premier Inn to be built on the edge of Skegness like it had been planned until you decided on putting it in the most inappropriate place in Skeg

The foreshore's not the councils to sell. So East Lindsey just go to hell, A premier inn's not what its for, Please all sign to save Skegness Foreshore.

I would raise the question what would happen if we had another 1952 flood situation, or an unexpected North Sea surge

Major hotel chain for the town is great but not on the Pier field, that side of the seafront should be kept for attractions not high buildings.

We don't need another hotel, with so many closing as it is.

local hoteliers are struggling enough with their businesses due to the current economic climate, surely this will only exacerbate this.

This has probably already been said but it was always my understanding that this field was "gifted" to "the people of Skegness" by the Earl of Scarborough as a recreation ground. What right has East Lindsey to sell the land? Clearly some more skulduggery at hand like the Tesco farce. Whilst this land is put to minimal use - and that's probably the Town Councils fault - to sell it off to a chain like Premier Inn is NOT was is needed, even if Skegness badly needs something.

I'm opposed to building on Green Belt..I would like to see this kept as an open space for young'uns to play on..

Wrong place to put it, the field needs to be used for attracting ppl to come to Skegness like it used to, put on event like tea in the park, summer fete, Christmas marke, food fair or charity fun days surly if I can think of things someone else can !!!

Wrong place for Premier Inn, needs to be on the outskirts of Skegness, not on our open ge
