The pier field has always been a space for the people of Skegness and for visitors, it should be kept this way, for use as intended by the Earl of Scarbrough when he gave the land to the town.

The field should be used for attractions. There is already lots of accomodation in the area but not enough for people to do when they get here

This site is not appropriate for this development. There are others available one of which I understand has Planning Permission.

I'm not against a premier inn, just not in this location. I feel we need more attractions on the seafront not hotels. However I would love to see a premier inn in the town but more on the outskirts

After having attendign the meeting last night I can see no evidence of a full options appraisal being undertaken on the Pier Field for its uses, nor for any other of our assets. For the residents of Skegness to be assurred that any decision made by elected members is open, honest and accountable that includes significant consultaiton and the benefits to the residents clearly identifiable - not soley the benefits to an outside business then no selling of land or assets should be allowed. Scrutiny of all of these decisions should be allowed by a panel of residents to ensure they are happy with these outcomes - only that way can we be assurred that decisions are accountable and not suspect

Just about the most inappropriate site in Skegness. This field may not be owned by the residents financially but emotionally it most certainly is.

Not a good idea. It would be a blight on what is now a pleasant outlook.

i believe a premier inn and some extras would be good... but Definitely not in that location, many hotelers and businesses would suffer, people round ere have worked hard to survive
