Save the Silver Spring plaza fountain. Ensure Ellsworth Drive is not next step to gentrifying Downtown Silver Spring.

So it's more important for you to gentrify our neighborhood than to keep the tradition of uniting multicultural Families,multicultural togetherness, peace and harmony in a our neighborhood community, it's enough gentrification going on in our neighborhood country as a whole in my opinion.....so with that being said,.....It's the comfort of having a familiar communal place to bond, and interact, in a fun and entertainment filled safe environment for me!!!!!!

I was raised in SS. My mother served the county as a housing commissioner to ensure SS and all of MoCo remained DIVERSE and ACCESSIBLE to all peoples, ages, abilities, and interests. Turf will do nothing but attract a single age/race demographic (and their dogs) Ellsworth was development done right. It provides a single place of convergence where families and individuals and kids can come together. DO NOT CHANGE A THING. Just stop doing too much. STOP!

Please keep the fountain. It is a source of so much joy. Watching little ones sqeak with joy playing in it every summer is one of the best parts of being in the downtown area. Thank you.

The fountain brings joy to so many children and much enjoyment to those who watch them frolic. It brings families and business to downtown Silver Spring. Please, please find a way to keep the fountain!
