The golf course is the only municipal in the borough. Do not earmark it for closure! This belongs to our town and it's people and the thought of losing it is appalling

Such a pity this is happening, St. Helens council should be ashamed of what they have done to this town.

I use the golf course and driving range, great facilities for the town, golf is a great hobby for fitness and socially especially for pensioners, we need more green space not less !

Please save the animal corner attraction of Sherdley Park St.Helens, as this town needs this and more like it for the community as much as for visitors.

Save this park. Stop destroying these areas by closing them down. People don't want to see more houses built by destroying the places people love.

Another prime example of lining the fat cats pockets in the council. Yet they can justify, putting the council tax up once again, hang your heads in shame!

Can a small fee not be charged to try and keep this open.. Children and parents need activities together that don't involve WiFi!

Disgraceful st helens council for even considering closing these activities. Yet Continue to sanction fast food places all over town.

The park is famous in St Helens it's one of the only things the town has that attracts visitors to the town and now you propose to take that away. Half my childhood and memory's where on that golf course and park and your going to take that away for future generations. Please reconsider

I think investment should be put into the community rather than build more housing estates in the beautiful surroundings of sherdley park.

This is heartbreaking to think one of the towns only beautiful features will be demolished for more housing estates !

The golf course and pets corner give so much pleasure for all ages. They are unique to St. Helen's and we must fight for them.

If cost cutting is needed get rid of the higher management in the council. Thousands could then be regenerated into Shirley park where it is better value.

There are always debates about getting kids more active and community care for the elderly, and then hearing more cuts may mean a place that brings people together like Sherdley Park is going to close? doesn't make sense to me.
