In today's world, please consider that children will be missing learning about being a part of the Catholic family! You can see how mass attendance is shrinking!! You can't rely that youngsters will never know what being a Catholic means!!

Thinking of Luke 11:9 : "And so I tell you, keep on asking, and you will receive what you ask for. Keep on seeking, and you will find. Keep on knocking, and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks, receives. Everyone who seeks, finds. And to everyone who knocks, the door will be opened.” Best wishes with this petition. Your teachers and students deserve to be heard.

This school has provided educations to tons of kids, has given back to the community as well as many others. It would be horrible to see their doors close.

Parents, students and teachers are willing to work together and to do whatever needs to be done to keep SFA open. Please reconsider and open your doors for the 2020-2021 school year. Thank you..

I am a member of the " post war baby boom"! My daughter, Serenity Belo is a product of my generation, and my grandaughters are the third generation. Birthrates have declined due to both parents working! The demand for education (public and private) has increased! Part of the demand is due to both parents working and the other part is due to the fact children have more to learn. Public schools are inadequate due to reduced budgets and shortage of qualified teachers. The Catholic Church has always provided a quality alternative to the public schools. If this school is closed it will send students into an already broken public school system that can't provide for its existing student load. If you close this school, it will take several years for the students from St. Francis to adjust and be mainstreamed if it happens at all! It would be the "best case" scenario took keep St. Francis open for the benefit of all the current and future students!

Please do no close St Francis of Assisi. It would be a big loss for everybody in Boston for a good Catholic School. My nieces and Nephews are very happy with the education in St Francis, They also have very nice inside and outside coming from Teachers education, also being close to God in a Catholic school. Please do not close it out. No comparison with other school. St Francis of Assisi is one of the best. Thanks. Sandra

It’s a very important school for our community. It gives our children the basis of a good a education ,for the success in high school years and most importantly the religious education.

St Francis has educated many friends and family from Braintree and neighboring communities over the years and the graduates thrive. It is a local gem!
