St. Francis of Assisi is my home parish. I would hate to see another Catholic school go silently into the night. Let us try and make an effort to save the school.

This school is a vital foundation for young children in the SO important character building years. Among the many important subjects, teaching children how to have a great relationship with God. Taking this safe & stable environment where kids are encouraged to hold on to, love & learn about God, I cannot think of an absolute worse thing to do to the families (including teachers/staff) of St. Francis of Assisi School at this time. First the Pandemic, now the civil unrest. The chaos all around us cannot be ignored. One corner of the foundation is crumbling away, all while the children are standing on it. One of the few things, in this uncertain time that the students & parents have faith in is THIS SCHOOL. This school is worth it. The students past, present & future are worth it. (I was a student in the 70's) Please, save St. Francis of Assisi School.

This is wrong. Families should have been notified earlier, before the pandemic!

I love SFA--it was my school and my son's! He lost his dad while a young student there, and SFA made such a difference in his life!

A great school. I agree 7-8 grades could stand to close given low volume but not the whole school

I was a member of the very first graduating class of SFA. We went through grades 1 -8 with no class ahead of us. Great education. Very sad to hear of its closing.
