This is a disgrace! If let stand if will be the beginning of the end for the Catholic Church. The progressives will have finally got their wish, the destruction of religion in education. An education without a moral compass is a totally worthless pursuit! My four children attended St Francis School, my daughter is a nurse, my oldest son has a doctorate in law as well as a MBA, my middle son is a dentist and my youngest son has his masters degree In architecture. Their future success was begun and nurtured at St Francis School, the education there was the foundation of all their future successes. My eldest son and his wife have enrolled their son in the preschool and going to school is his most favorite activity! I continue to be impressed with the results that can be attained by a devoted faculty and a religion based curriculum! My two other sons and their wives have bought homes in Braintree so that their children could attend St Francis School just as they did. All my children greatly value the parochial education they received and want their children to partake in it as well at St Francis School! My grandson participated in his first Christmas Concert at the school the past December and while attending I had memories of my own children streaming through my reverie. Their excitement, their joy and their profound belief in God at the Birth of his Son. Where are my grandchildren to go to find that joy in their beliefs? If this is to be the end of parochial education in Braintree it will not go down without a fight!!!!

One of the best if not best private Catholic education you will receive in the south shore, east coast New England by far led by an exemplary principal in Mr. Brian Cote and a dedicated faculty unparalleled to none . It’s hard to envision my three children anywhere else . Please explore and exhaust all options before considering a permanent closure.

Catholic schools are of the utmost importance in helping to form and shape both our children’s moral compass and that of the communities they belong to. I urge you to do all you can to save this school.

St. Francis is a very special school. I am very disappointed that we were not informed earlier. It puts all the parents in an extremely difficult position to get our children enrolled for the next school year. It's not finding a school, its finding the right school. There are many options that can be explored to keep Saint Francis viable. I do expect, after 9 years of my family's commitment to Saint Francis, a clear problem statement that concludes no other option but to close the doors.

This school has been amazing during these challenging times. This kind of family and community relationships are what our children need in these uncertain times.
