I graduated from St. Francis and they gave me an amazing education. I still live in Braintree and want to someday send me children there. It would be a tragedy if this great school closes.

This school has been amazing for students. Great teachers and great curriculum for students. Please keep St Francis of Assisi open!

I am so so sad to get this SAD news about SFA. My grandson has only been there since 6th grade he is now in grade8 Supposed to have been graduating. He has had such a POSITIVE experience at SFA.

Please keep school open for as many more years as you can. My nieces & nephews so want to finish out their school years here as much as I want them too. God bless

The teachers and staff have gone above and beyond during Covid and deserve so much better than this!

Although Tyler had to transition out of SFA and into public schools to receive supports that are only available with a full SPED department, we are so saddened to hear about this. We had been planning to send our daughter in the very near future. Tyler, and his brother Ethan who was not a student but attended Santa Pancake, still get SO excited anytime we are walking past SFA, driving past it, etc. We love this school and would hate to see it closed. Please let us know what we can do to help save the school, the students, the wonderful faculty and staff.

This is a wonderful school and community Please reconsider closing! This leaves parents in a very difficult situation with out knowing what the fall will bring...

As someone who has lived in Braintree my whole life, I have had friends that have been blessed to attend SFA and have seen what a wonderful institution this is to our community. It is and should remain a viable educational center for future generations to enjoy.

To see this school close is like tearing each hair out of my head one by one. Extreamly painful and hurtful. Please keep SFA open.

This would break everyone’s heart. This school is a lifeline to these children’s future. We need this school and all the amazing teachers and an administration. Besides who lives those faces more SFA.

I enrolled at SFA along with my two brothers and sister from Kindergarten thru 8th grade. I met my, now wife, Meghan there who was a grade below me and looked forward to sending our children there as well. Saddened to hear of a potential closing. I am sure with a bit of fundraising the school can stay open and prosper for future families like mine to have just a good experience as I had. Rethink the decision for the betterment of the community and students!

This place gave me friends that I have kept to this day, teachers who I still admire and speak about, and an education that laid the foundation for my current success. I couldn’t imagine Braintree or my childhood without SFA and hope that you will reconsider this abrupt decision.

Please stay open

This school is a safe, nurturing place for my children in an uncertain time. To have this ripped from them, when it could have been prevented, is shameful and heartbreaking.
