More concrete?? Yuk!! Look at the Marblehead entrance.... the bricks were removed for colored concrete. It looks horrible and constant maintenance ;(

Preserve the sidewalks. There's no reason to get rid of those they are beautiful and charming and make you feel like you're part of history when you walk on them.

My mother, Helen Russell, grow up walking the red tile sidewalks of San Clemente 80-years ago. They were and should continue to be an integral part of San Clemente's original history as provided in the vision of it's founder, Ole Hanson. They should be enjoyed for generations to come by ensuring all future development retain the Mediterranean-style influence provided by the red tile sidewalks. Don't be short sighted and lose an aspect of San Clemente's charm and beauty.
