The impact to the landscape and especially the environment will be tremendous and not just where the plant is but for ma yo miles around. It will affect the recreational aspect as well.

Search Google Earth for Hwy281 and 120 in Marble Falls and follow it into Fairland and see what Collier and the other big corporations have done to this beautiful valley. The damage done is never repaired, they just move on and continue to rape the land and us water like it is unlimited. The LCRA and the Corp. of Engineers should havse plenty to say about this, as the TCEQ does nothingand does not address the problems just mentioned.

I am very much opposed to the sand mining of Sandy Creek. Traffic will be terrible, air pollution, etc. Let's leave Mother Nature alone!!!

We need to preserve the area's diminishing natural spaces for recreation, nature, community, and spirit.

I am opposed to the sand mining of Sandy Creek by a commercial mining company due to the detrimental impact on the areas quality of life.

Please leave our creek and clean air alone. We need both of these to continue living here. We LIVE here. Buy a large desolate piece of property, far from other people, and do your business there. Don’t creep into our small community and try to take our limited water supply and throw trash into our air. This is only money to you- it’s our home

This proposed plant promises nothing but negative for the community - additional burden on the aquifer; blight on the landscape; light and noise pollution from the facility; traffic congestion, road hazards, noise and air pollution from truck traffic.

I have lived near Sandy Creek most of my life and spent many hours swimming, fishing and playing in its waters. Mother Nature has done a fantastic job of preserving the beauty and quality of Sandy Creek since time immemorial. Don't mess with Mother Nature. Leave Sandy Creek alone.
