Sam helped the Beatles gain their early fan base. He was a dear man and deserves recognition. Who knows, without Sam and all those early concerts he booked and promoted, where would the Beatles have been today? He was and is integral to the beginnings of The Beatles, no two ways about it. Thank you, Sam for all your efforts.

I text the Grapes a couple of weeks ago about them erecting a plaque in remembrance of Sam heard nothing yet

Sam was one of the founding fathers of the Liverpool Rock n Roll Scene. I was there and witnessed this.

Sam was a dear friend of mine and a local legend in Liverpool. He used to say Epstein insisted Sam was written out of history, but he never went away.

Being such an integral part of Beatles' history the man who could have been the Beatles' Manager must always be remembered. Sam must always be mentioned in anything to do with the Beatles.
Of course Sam is a big part of the Beatles history...and must be saved there, where he belongs..
