I don't think Sam has been recognized enough for what he did for he Beatles. He'll never be forgotten.

Sam was a good friend to me. We had some crazy adventures in Chicago!!! Miss him and wish the very best for his family, especially his daughter, Samantha!!!

Would-be Beatles manager Sam Leach died on 21 December 2016. His Liverpool contemporary, Allan Williams—the group's first manager who in August 1960 booked and then drove The Beatles to their first club season in Hamburg, died a little over a week later, on 30 December 2016. Two key figures that played major roles in the birth of The Beatles. Long may they both be justly celebrated and remembered.

Just read the novel The one after nine 'o nine. Beautifully written and found myself singing the sentences in my head as I read. Sam Leach is a true legend and stings my heart his lack of respect. Instant Karma will get ya,you know. Wise up and wake up. Love

Sam Leach was such an important part of The Beatles story and it seems unthinkable that he would be left out of most books on their history, including The Anthology. He certainly deserves a blue plaque in Liverpool.

I knew only vaguely about Sam before reading The One After 9:09 but now appreciate the role he played in bringing beat music to the people. He should be recognised for what he did in this era. We need more people like Sam who have this passion.

The part Sam Leach played in the early days of the Mersey Sound and the Beatles was a real revelation - that's what I enjoyed about The One After 9:09 by Tony - it is packed with the atmosphere, the energy and the little known human stories that took place during this amazing era in modern music history. I saw the Beatles perform in 1964 and they are still the best live band for energy, audience interaction and brilliant song-writing ... love, love, love.

I'd never heard of Sam Leach till I read The One After 9:09 - enjoyed discovering his energetic and enterprising role in promoting the now legendary Mersey sound, and agree that such a mover, shaker and colourful character is long overdue for wider recognition.
